Café with a Digital Infrastructure
The Ribbon UA team implemented a basic digital infrastructure in a food service establishment, including internet connectivity, Wi-Fi access points, and a video surveillance system. One of the key challenges of the site was poor mobile signal coverage indoors, which affected service stability, speed of operations, and functionality of terminals, CRM, and service platforms.
Solution Implementation
Professional Aruba equipment was used to establish stable Wi-Fi coverage across service areas, the cashier zone, and back-of-house spaces. The solution ensures seamless signal with no dropouts and is capable of handling heavy traffic in a limited area.
Due to weak mobile network coverage inside the facility, a signal amplification solution was implemented. This stabilized the operation of mobile POS terminals, ordering systems, and improved overall connectivity for both customers and staff.
A video surveillance system was installed to monitor key zones, including the entrance, checkout area, and main dining hall. Local video archiving and remote playback access were enabled.
Result
The café’s digital infrastructure was brought to a stable, fully functional state.
Reliable Wi-Fi coverage, stable online services, and surveillance of service areas were ensured. The setup is scalable, with plans to expand similar infrastructure using proven components in future locations.
